Cast Polyamide is a material from the Polyamide group, it is produced by casting, has a tight texture and hardness. Mechanical strength value is very good. It is preferred especially in gears with large diameters in gear construction. Provided that the gears are properly bedding, long-term durability is obtained. The advantage of Cast Polyamide is that it has a very high abrasion resistance. It achieves very high abrasion resistance even when working with metals. Due to this feature, it can be used in steel rope reels. It gives better results compared to polyamide 6 (extruded polyamide) in terms of dimensional stability.

Areas of Use

In heavy industry gear and gear in rotating and sliding moving machine parts. It is used in the bearing field, in heavy load rollers, in aquaplaning and spare parts of construction machines.
